How to Remove EXIF/GPS from Images

Short answer: Re‑encode or export through a tool that strips metadata—GPS and camera EXIF drop out when the file is rewritten; keep a private master if you still need originals.

Re‑encoding on export removes most EXIF/GPS metadata. Our tools clear them by default.

  1. Open /redact or /compress
  2. Export as JPG – EXIF/GPS will be removed automatically.

We may add an optional toggle to keep non‑sensitive fields later.
